going to Hong Kong.
A: Oh, nice.
B: Have you
ever been to Hong Kong?
A: Yes, a
couple of times.
B: Really? When
did you go there?
A: I went there
for the first time in 1990. and my second trip was last year.
B: What time of
year did you go?
A: The first
time was during winter, and the weather was quite good and mild.
Very pleasant, in fact. And the second time was during summer.
B: What was the
weather like then?
A: It was very
hot and humid.
B: I’ll pack
some light clothes, then. Did you have a good time there?
A: Yes, I had a
great time. It’s a very crowded city, but very exciting, too.
And the food is excellent, and not too expensive. Have you ever
tried Peking duck?
B: No, I
haven’t.
A: Well, you
should. It’s delicious.
B: Sounds good.
